Flipping yes!

I have been waiting a long time for Google to finally release a Google+ API but now it is finally here!

Google sent out emails to developers who had signed up for information when the API became available this afternoon, and now finally developers can start building decent third party Google+ apps. I think that this is going to be exciting times!

Just incase you are interested, the email that Google sent about the launch of the Google+ API looked a little like this:

I haven’t been this excited for quite a long time!

Google have launched a Google+ Developers site along with the API which will be a great place for getting API documentation as well as information such as terms and policies.

I guess that there isn’t much more to say really. If you are a developer, get your ass over to the Google+ Developers site and start making something awesome. If you are just a regular user, then sit back, subscribe to this blog and wait for some truly awesome third party Google+ apps to hit the market very soon!

Naturally, we will be covering all of the latest and coolest third party apps as they are released. This blog is literally the only blog you are going to need for the latest Google+ news and tutorials, so, for real, i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again, you should definitely subscribe!

I can’t seem to stop typing, Dustin and I are literally so excited about the release of this API. I think we both well and truly wet our pants when we saw the email from Google drop into our inbox. No lie!

OK – enough from me. How are you feeling about Google announcing the API? Are you as excited as us? Let us know in the comments below!

BOOM!
