If you’re constantly on the run like I am, sometimes you don’t have time to read every post on Google+. Sometimes you only have a minute to scan through and see if anything interesting catches your eye. But when you find something interesting, what do you do if you don’t have time to actually read it or comment on it?

Well, we’ve found an easy way to bookmark posts so that you can easily come back to them later to read or comment on them! It’s actually really simple to do, and you’ll likely be using it several times a day!
On Twitter, the “Favorites” feature is what I used to bookmark interesting posts that I wanted to revisit when I had more time. On Google+ this same functionality can be achieved by using the Circles feature, partnered with the “share” function. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
Step 1: Create a new circle, and name it accordingly. I named mine “Read Later”.

Step 2: Add only yourself to that circle. You cannot add anyone else to that circle or it will not work properly.
*Edit*: You actually don’t even need to add yourself to this circle for it to work. You can leave it empty, and the same effect will work.
Step 3: Find interesting content, that you don’t have time to read in the moment.

Step 4: Share said interesting content with your “Read Later” circle.

Step 5: Visit your “Read Later” circle stream… later, when you have time!

That’s it! Enjoy your new bookmark system for Google+ posts!
How will you use the awesome knowledge you’ve just received? Have you found anything else that works? You can leave a comment by clicking here.

I can’t add myself to the circle… Obviously I’m not in my contacts?
All you need to do to add yourself to the circle is type in your gmail address where you would add a person to the circle.
how do i share all those read later streams to people in my other circles?
Currently, you can’t share streams. You can just share each individual post with them and maybe #tag it with something like #readlater so they know. Does that make sense?
Thanks for the tip, really useful
You are welcome! Thanks for the comment! If it helped you, helps someone else discover it by using the share buttons to the left of the post!
