Something that seems to be super important in the hearts and minds of new Google+ users is the ability to integrate their other social networks within Google+. If you are anything like me then many of your friends and family have still not seen the light and come over the Google+…yet!
Various Chrome and Firefox extensions have been released since Google+ was launched to aid in the kind of integration I am talking about, but so far none have been as good as the extension we are looking at today.
Today I want to introduce you to SGPlus – an extension that is available for both Firefox and Chrome. This is an awesome plugin which allows you to run your social networking a lot more smoothly and all from one place. Just what we have been waiting for!
So? How does it work? Well, first you will need to get that badboy installed on your browser. As I have said, right now it is only good for Chrome or Firefox. To install simply follow the relevant link, either to the Google Chrome plugin or the Firefox plugin.
Then you just have to spend a couple of minutes connecting your Twitter and Facebook accounts and you are set!
What Are Some of The Features of SGPlus?
- When you write a post from Google+ you can also choose to post it to Twitter or Facebook. It’s all there directly in the Google+ post box!
- You can choose which messages go to which social networks, you simply toggle them on or off!
- Your Facebook and Twitter streams will show up in your Google+ stream – nice!
So, there it is, SGPlus, definitely very simple, but extremely powerful. I am always amazed at how awesome some of these browser plugins are, and this is certainly no exception.
I hope that you enjoy using SGPlus, and if you are using it, let us know how you like it in the comments below!
