So, you are starting to hear about this exciting new social network released by Google, but you are also hearing that at the moment the service is “invite only”.
Well, the question that seems to be coming up the most about Google+ at the moment is “How do I get a Google+ invite?” – so, wanting to be helpful here at Google+ Tutorials, and also wanting everyone to be involved in this exciting new service, here is our ultimate guide to getting yourself a Google+ invite.
Who Has The Power?
From what we can understand, Google initially sent invites to various high-profile social media experts and known influential early adopters.
From there on it seems that Google has left the inviting up to the initial users. Some of these guys were given “official” invites to send to their friends and contacts to get them onto Google+.
However it does seem that there is another way to invite people to Google+ without having an “official” invite, which I will explain in just a moment.
How Do I Get My Invite?
So, in order of reliability, here are the best ways to get yourself a Google+ invite:
1. Find a friend who is on Google+ and has an “official” invite and ask them to invite you.
This is the most ideal situation as it is most likely to actually get you a Google+ invite. The “official” invites are solid because they are what they are. However, these “official” invites are, it seems, extremely hard to come by, I myself have not heard of anyone that I know personally having any of these yet.
You can find out how to check if you have official invites and how to use them in my Sending Official Google+ Invites tutorial.
2. Find a friend who is on Google+ who doesn’t have an “official” invite and ask them to invite you.
Yes, you read correctly. If you have a friend who is a Google+ user already they don’t need to have an official invite to invite you to the Google+ service!
Just get your friend to follow our “How To Invite Your Friends To Google+” tutorial and you should be well on your way to bagging a Google+ invite. This option can take a little more time as Google will only allow a certain number of users to sign up at a time, however if you keep trying it will work eventually.
3. Find a stranger who is on Google+ and ask them to invite you.
If you are desperate to get on Google+ ASAP, but don’t have any friends who are already using the service then this is your next best option.
There are plenty of people bragging about the fact they are on Google+ all over the internet, especially on Twitter. If I were you and I were looking for a Google+ user to invite me, I would do an advanced Twitter search to try and find the users that are talking about Google+.
Once you have found someone who is prepared to send you an invite, get them to follow our “How To Invite Your Friends To Google+” tutorial.
4. Follow us on Twitter in the hope that we get some “official” invites.
We are pretty sure that sooner or later we here at Google+ Tutorials will end up with some “official” Google+ invites. As soon as we get them we will be for sure giving them away somehow.
We will send out tweets as and when we get “official” Google+ invites, so make sure that you are following us on Twitter for the latest information.
5. Sign up for an invite through Google.
There is absolutely no guarantee that this will get you an invite any time soon, but it probably worth doing if you are desperate for an invite. Simply visit the Google+ website and express interest in receiving an invite for the service.
See You On Google+ Soon!
I hope that helps you to get a Google+ invite sooner, and we hope to be hanging out with you on Google+ soon!

Google+ soon will be dead unborn. The way Google is treats its users makes some social networks laugh on it. But, we’ll see how soon I can get an ivite, still waiting for more than 5 days for it. ))
Igor, thanks for your comment.
I am going to have to disagree about the death of Google+. I know that the invite-only trial period seems a bit harsh, but it will open up fully soon enough and I believe that it will thrive.

Anyway, I would be thankful and appreciate you for an invite. ) Still waiting, no replies from google. By the way, there are some rumours, that google is going to leave the G+ project.
is there anyway to invite people using the google+ android app?
Have just had a look and it doesn’t seem that it would work. I will dig deeper though and if I find a way I will let you know! Thanks for the question!
yeah, I just created a Google+ account from an invitation of my friend. Try it in some minutes, I have some thoughts: more simple than Facebook with magical Circles, animation effects are processed so smooth
if you have any difficulty in registering, let me know, I’ll invite you immediately
Pretty Please
Doing it right now!
