Google+ Trick: Give Your Scrolling Finger A Break

google plus tipIf you’re as obsessed with Google+ as I am, you probably find yourself scrolling down your stream long enough for it to stop automatically loading more. When this happens, it’s good to know that you can give your scrolling finger a break thanks to a nice little feature that allows you to instantly scroll to the top of your current page with one click.

All you have to do is click on Google’s navigation bar that follows you down the screen. You can click anywhere within the grey space that is not already occupied with a button, link, or search bar.

Here is an image that highlights the clickable area:

  1. That is a very smart feature! I like it, couldn’t you also just press the home button though (as long as you do not have a cursor in a text box)

  2. This “tip” has been a feature in Google+ since I can remember. This is nothing new for me. But thanks for the info
