Google is slowly releasing the ability for Google+ to connect and interact with other Google products. I’m super excited about this. I can only imagine what this will mean when they finally integrate Google+ with Google Apps!
Today, I’m walking you through their newest feature, which is the ability to connect your YouTube account to your Google+ account. You can watch the video below, or take the following steps.
And in case you can’t see the video above, here are the steps:
1. Sign in to your YouTube account.
2. Click the dropdown menu under your user name.
3. Click on “Settings“.
4. Click “Sharing“.
5. At the top of the “Connected networks” column, you’ll see Google+. Click “Connect”. As long as you are signed into Google+ already, it should only take a few seconds, and you’re done.
That’s it! You’ve successfully connected your Google+ account to your YouTube account! This is a small step in the direction of connecting more Google products and Apps to Google+, solidifying Google+ as the core of all Google products.
Let us know in the comments below what you’re doing with this connection functionality!
