If you’re a graphic designer, blogger, or just someone who likes to collect icons, I’ve created a set of Google+ feature icons that you can use at your leisure!

Perfect for all your Google+ design needs!

I searched all over the net to try and find something like this, but the only ones I could find weren’t complete. So, I created my own. It contains both a color and grey version of the following feature icons:

  • Stream
  • Photos
  • Profile
  • Circles
  • Hangouts
  • Sparks
  • Messenger (Huddle)
  • Games
  • Business Pages

All icons are in vector format, so they’ll size nicely to whatever your needs. I hope they are of good use for you in all your Google+ projects! Enjoy!

What’s up Google+ lovers? Hope you are having an absolutely awesome day!

I just wanted to updated you on a new release from Google which may be of interest to people in this community.

Feeling a bit bummed about Google+ at the moment?

I know that I am!

I guess the main reason is the fact that not many of my friends have even tried Google+ out yet, and so I am only following a small amount of people on Google+ right now.

Today though I found a really cool resource which I think is going to help me to find more people to follow and interact with on Google+. I am pretty excited about it and I think that it is going to help you to find a lot more interesting people to follow on Google+ too!

Check out my video below where I show you how it works:

Something that seems to be super important in the hearts and minds of new Google+ users is the ability to integrate their other social networks within Google+. If you are anything like me then many of your friends and family have still not seen the light and come over the Google+…yet!

Various Chrome and Firefox extensions have been released since Google+ was launched to aid in the kind of integration I am talking about, but so far none have been as good as the extension we are looking at today.

For those who still haven’t made it into Google+ and are still wanting an invite, last week we wrote a guide about how to get a Google+ invite, but even then, it seems that some people are struggling.

So, we want to make sure that everyone who is interested in becoming a Google+ user is able to, after all, it’s those that are truly enthusiastic and active on the service that are going to make it a success.

Want a Google+ Search?

James —  July 11, 2011 — 3 Comments

With certain social media sites (especially Twitter!) I love that it is so easy to search public content.

This has so many good uses, from finding people’s opinions on trending topics, to finding people who have similar interests to you, to finding the answer to a pressing question.

When it comes to Twitter, for example, Twitter advance search is like my best friend, in fact I might even go as far as saying my BFF!

Enough about Twitter, we are here to talk about Google+, the new kid on the block!

If you are wanting to get the most out of Google plus then you are going to want to use some kind of public-content search option, for me I know that I am going to find it super useful in terms of finding new connections who have similar interest, after all, this is social networking right?

Well, when one of our blog subscribers, Rich Knight, contacted us with a link to a Google+ search website, I thought that maybe we were onto something good.
