I love using Twitter, but I want to make sure that I am also giving Google+ enough of my attention, and ideally I want to encourage many of my Twitter followers to join me on Google+ too!
I have found a great tool which allows me to have my cake AND eat it!

One challenge faced by many on Google+ is the fact that Google+ can sometimes seem a bit desolate and are desperate for more of their friends and contacts to join the social network.
Heck, I am the first to say that I am in that place! I really want more of my friends to join Google+
When Apple recently announced the iPhone 4S Siri was without doubt the dealmaker. With smooth videos of how it works, and amazing features, it is going to make the sales of the iPhone 4S huge.
The question I am left with in my head though, is are Google working on their own Android version of something like Siri?
…and if they are, will it blow Siri out of the water?

Sometimes you will be posting stuff out on Google+ that you want to keep to your own profile and not have people reshare.
Maybe it is a piece of photography, creative writing, or a video which you want to make sure it attributed to you, I totally understand.
Google being Google have made it super easy for you to “lock” your posts so that no one else can re-share them, just check out my video below where I run you through it!

Google+ hangouts is a fantastic feature of the Google+ social network.
It is literally video chat on steroids!
I used to mainly use Skype for doing video chats, which only allows one to one chats unless you have a premium service. Google+ hangouts wipes the floor with Skype and other services with a stable, high quality group video chat solution that even has some nice extra features. It’s all free too!
Some of us are extremely pleased that Google+ has some great games on it. Popular titles like Angrybirds, CityVille, etc.
Others of us, couldn’t give a damn, and quick frankly want nothing to do with notifications that have plagued us on other social networks such as Facebook in the past (I still have nightmares about farms).
As I have already mentioned, Google have been very helpful in setting up a specific stream for posts to do with games. However, it does seems that people can still send you game invites in your notifications bar, which, for some, could be a little irritating.
But have no fear! These gaming notifications can be easily muted. Just check out my video below where I show you how!
